For the past two decades, Alice + Olivia has been one of the biggest names in fashion and there couldn’t be a better way to celebrate this milestone than by launching a collaboration with Tempaper. “I admire Stacey Bendet’s bold and brave approach,” says Tempaper co-founder and chief creative officer, Jennifer Matthews. “Her powerhouse personality and fresh style put her brand front and center. To have an opportunity to bring that style to Tempaper surrounding their anniversary is an honor.”

One of the top brands of removable wallpaper, sometimes called “peel and stick” or “self-adhesive” wallpaper, Tempaper is known for its gorgeous designs and collaborations with some of the top names in fashion and home including The Novogratz, Cynthia Rowley, Bobby Berk, Nesting With Grace, and Genevieve Gorder.

The collaboration with Alice + Olivia features four prints in styles ranging from traditional to modern with prices starting at $45 for a small panel and $42.99 for a single roll.

The Prints

Alice + Olivia founder and CEO Stacey Bendet transformed several of the prints from the brands’s Spring 2022 collection into the line for Tempaper. “You could match your outfit to your wallpaper. Collaborating with Tempaper allowed us to bring our spring floral patterns, as seen in our spring fashion collection, to a new category with a home interior offering,” she tells me.

The most interesting thing about this collaboration is the statement it makes about design as a whole. A chic print can transcend two very different categories— fashion and home. Bendet tells me, “As a designer, I always aim to create beauty. This collection of wallpapers has been designed to bring beauty into the homes of people worldwide.”

The Stace Face print is an icon of the Alice + Olivia brand and has been featured on everything from t-shirts to sweaters and handbags. Modern and whimsical yet, strikingly sophisticated, there are two Stace Face prints in the Tempaper collaboration. “We also used updated versions of the Stace Face in Rainbow Stace and a more artistic Stace that can be found on a variety of products this year,” reveals Bendet.

XOXO Stace features the chic black illustration (with just a touch of red for the lips) against a white background.

On the other hand, Rainbow Stace is maximalism at its finest with a touch of retro. This look is ideal for dining rooms or any room that’s begging for a dose of color.

Simply showstopping, both prints instantly transform ordinary rooms into spaces with true character. Called “a nod to pop art,” by Matthews— these prints are what plain accent walls are begging for in living rooms, bedrooms, powder rooms, and even home offices. What could be a more interesting Zoom call background than Stace Face?

The other two prints have very different aesthetics. Matthews explains, “The florals will satisfy any vintage minimalist’s dream house. [They] add vivid personality to powder rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, but with Tempaper, you can freely style these beautiful prints in any room or surface that needs fun color.”

True to its name, Forget-Me-Not is quite simply unforgettable. The ideal compliment to navy blue furniture and textiles, it makes a grand statement without being too over the top. Quite simply, while Forget-Me-Not is a timeless print, it still feels fresh and new.

Full Look is a fierce yet cheerful paisley with green and pink hues. It’s bold, bright, and the wallpaper equivalent of a delicious tropical cocktail from a hotel bar. Bendet notes, “I could see the spring paisley garden print in a Palm Beach living room.”

How To Install Tempaper

Unlike standard wallpaper, Tempaper’s peel and stick wallpaper does not require professional installation, just a steady hand and a little bit of patience. Matthews says its best to pre-measure and cut the panels to size. “Start from the middle of the surface and work your way outwards. Grab a friend to help and have fun.”

Best of all, Tempaper is easy to remove. Just peel it off the wall. It won’t leave a residue or damage the wall in any way, making it great for renters, DIYers, or anyone who likes to frequently change up the style and decor of their home.
